We don't preach about ourselves, but about Jesus Christ of Nazareth as our Lord and Savior. The God, of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has shone His light in our hearts to help us understand His Glory through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We are like fragile jars that hold a valuable treasure, so that people can see that the power comes from God and not from us. 2 Corinthians 4:1-7 (KJV);
It is written: " No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and mammon."
Mammon refers to anything that is considered more valuable than the Lord God Himself, like self, belongings, money, popularity, position. Please read Luke 18:18-27 (KJV) for more information on this topic. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Instead, we show the truth to everyone's conscience and to God. Even if some people don't understand our message, it's because they are blinded by the devil (the serpent of old Genesis 3 (KJV).
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:26-28 (KJV). We are the sheep in the fold of Christ Jesus.
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one [a]cubit to his [b]stature?
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not [c]arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek ye first the Kingdom of the God (of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof Matthew 6:33-34 (KJV).
Because of this, we don't give up even though we face difficulties. We have rejected shameful things and don't use tricks or deceit to spread God's message.
on, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. John 21:16-18 (KJV).
